Registration:  Open now - June 16th online or at the BGC front desk

Dates & Location: Tuesdays and Thursdays (4:30 - 5:30pm) from June 16- July 23rd on the BGCK Indoor Turf field. 

Cost: $65 per person, and includes program t-shirt. 

Ages: Boys & girls, grades 2nd - 8th. 

About the Class: The objective of Speed and Power Training is to provide foundational speed, power, and agility training for the young athlete in an encouraging, evolving, and fun environment.  Athletes will be led through dynamic exercises that focus on building fast-twitch muscles and quickness. The  ultimate goal of this class is to prepare young athlete's minds and bodies for the demands of their sport's season, and reduce the risk of injury.

Coahes: Dr. Joseph Perry and Dr. Brian Hardy of Sports Physical Therapists

  • Coach Joe Perry grew up in northern Wisconsin. He graduated from Viterbo University in 2012 and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 2017. Coach Perry has experience in coaching collegiate athletics and injury prevention. He takes interest in backpacking, snowboarding, wrestling and running.
  • Coach Brian Hardy graduated from the UW- Oshkosh with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology (Strength and Conditioning) in 2014; where he played football for UW- Oshkosh. In 2018, he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University. Brian takes special interest in strength and conditioning and the young athlete. In his spare time Brian enjoys playing with his dogs, traveling and the outdoors.

All refund requests must be submitted within two weeks of the season starting.

BGC Sports offers youth speed AND POWER TRAINING to KIDS in 2nd through 8th grade in and around Kenosha, WI.

BGC Sports is dedicated to teaching youth in the Kenosha community life skills through speed and power training. Our mission is to promote good sportsmanship, healthy lifestyles and team building, while providing a safe and positive environment for competition.

BGC Sports Coach Screening

Every BGC Sports head coach and assistant coach has been screened and has passed a required background check to work with youth sports teams. All coaches have concussion training and follow mandatory reporting protocol.
