Baseball & Softball Spring Training Details

Please check back in the winter of 2020 for details on next year's spring training class.

What better way to get ready for the BGC Baseball and Softball season than with indoor spring training clinics! These 6-session clinics will have players developing the correct hitting and pitching techniques to help them succeed on the diamond outside.

Registration: Open through March 24, 2019.

Dates: Tuesday and Thursday Evenings-- April 2nd through April 18th. All 3 camps below will run for 3 weeks (6 sessions). Participants may sign up for 1 or 2 sessions, based on interest. 

  • Session 1: Baseball & softball hitting camp, 5-6pm
  • Session 2: Baseball pitching camp, 6-7pm
  • Session 3: Softball pitching camp, 6-7pm

Location: Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha, indoor soccer field.

Who: Baseball: Boys and girls, ages 8-12.

Cost: $60 per clinic. 

Clinic Coaches: 

  • Dave Randall- BGC Sports Director- Coach Randall spent 37 years coaching collegiate baseball with 895 career wins and coached 15 years of high school and travel softball. Randall’s teams were ranked nationally in the NJCAA 19 times and made 4 World Series appearances. Randall has been a clinic speaker, private instructor and has operated the Dave Randall Hitting Camp for 30 years.
  • Jose Vasquez- Glory Softball Director- Coach Vazquez has coached 15 years and is a leading softball advocate for the Kenosha area having made an impact to many softball players both on and off the field.  Vasquez has a deep love for the game and is motivated to help as many athletes as possible in the game of softball and life.

BGC Sports offers youth baseball & softball leagues and clinics to youth ages 4 - 15 in and around Kenosha, WI.

BGC Sports is dedicated to teaching youth in the Kenosha community life skills through baseball and softball skills. Our mission is to promote good sportsmanship, healthy lifestyles and team building, while providing a safe and positive environment for competition.

BGC Sports Coach Screening

Every BGC Sports head coach and assistant coach has been screened and has passed a required background check to work with youth sports teams. All coaches have concussion training and follow mandatory reporting protocol.
