Cost: $110 per person. Includes 9 holes of golf & lunch on the last day of class.
Dates & Location: Wednesdays June 24th - Wednesday August 19th at Washington Park Municipal Course and Kenosha Country Club. Wednesday August 19th will be Golf with a Cop for all participants.
Ages: Boys & girls, ages 7-16
Beginners: The beginner class will teach golfers stance, grip, swing, putting, rules, etiquette and much more.
Intermediate: The intermediate class will cover many of the same things taught in the beginner class. In addition, more techniques and advanced skills will be covered.
Instructor: Carly Werwie will be the lead instructor of this summer’s class. Carly is a former WIAA Division 1 State Golf Champion, played college golf at UW- Madison, and played a few years professionally on the Symetra Tour. She is currently the head coach women’s golf at Loyola University. As a certified U.S. Kids Golf Instructor, Carly is looking forward to making the game of golf fun for our participants!
All golfers are encouraged to bring their own clubs to the class. If you are in need of clubs for the class please let the Boys & Girls Club know in advance so we can prepare accordingly.
Included in this program is the Golf with a Cop event on Wednesday, August 19th. The class concludes with a 9-hole event where all players will get to play a round of golf with a Kenosha police officer or public official. We encourage parents to caddie for your child during the event. Lunch will be provided for all golfers after the round.
All refund requests must be submitted within two weeks of the season starting.

Every BGC Sports head coach and assistant coach has been screened and has passed a required background check to work with youth sports teams. All coaches have concussion training and follow mandatory reporting protocol.
