Kenosha Youth Basketball Leagues

2023-2024 Basketball League Details 1st-6th Grade

Limited spots open. Please come to BGC-Kenosha to register in person.

 

Games: Saturdays at the BGCK. Games will begin December 2nd, 2023 and end with the playoffs on February 10 or 17th, depending on your division. 

Practice: Optional team Preseason practices are on Saturdays or Sundays throughout the month of November at the Boys & Girls Club. 

Cost: $115. Uniform t-shirt is included.

Reduced rate $80:  For your child to receive the reduced rate, your family must participate in one of the following programs. Please provide proof you receive one of these benefits: TANF Programs: (Wisconsin Works (w-2), Wisconsin Shares, SSI – Caretaker Supplement, Transform Milwaukee Jobs/Transitional Jobs Other Programs: SNAP (Foodshare), WIC, or Foster care child.

Active Military Families:  Fee waived for one sport per calendar year. You must be a BGC member.

Payment Policy:  All outstanding balances must be paid in full to register for the 2023-2024 season. 

All registrations must accompany payment in full.  If participant cannot pay in full, a deposit of half the fee is required. Remaining balance must be paid by November 2nd, 2023. If balance is not paid, participant will be removed from their registered team and the roster spot will be forfeited.  The child will be placed on a wait list until fees are paid. 

Divisions: Boys and girls have each of the following divisions.

  • Bambino: 1st & 2nd Grade
  • Peewee: 3rd & 4th Grade
  • Juniors: 5th & 6th Grade

Jr. Draft - 5th and 6th Grade BOYS Division:

New players moving into the 5th and 6th grade division will be placed in the draft/combine.  Returning Jr. players wishing to change teams are not allowed to be coach picked, and will be randomly placed on a team (they will not attend the combine).

Combine: November 2nd 

Time: 5:00pm

Coaches: Each basketball team needs a coach. If you are interested in volunteering to coach a team, please contact us at 262.654.6200, prompt 5 or [email protected].

All refund requests must be submitted BEFORE the first game.

The BGC Sports Department will follow all Kenosha County Health Department guidelines regarding COVID-19 to ensure the safety of our players, volunteers, and staff as well as compliance with any future mandates.

BGC Sports offers youth basketball leagues to youth ages 4 - 12 in and around Kenosha, WI.

BGC Sports is dedicated to teaching youth in the Kenosha community life skills through basketball skills. Our mission is to promote good sportsmanship, healthy lifestyles and team building, while providing a safe and positive environment for competition.

BGC Sports Coach Screening

Every BGC Sports head coach and assistant coach has been screened and has passed a required background check to work with youth sports teams. All coaches have concussion training and follow mandatory reporting protocol.
